As loneliness embraces me tight,
In the gloomy twilight,
With a broken heart I go
In my silent portico,
And ask the nearest Neem tree:
'Tree, oh tree, can you hear me?
Can you feel my pain?
Can you see my tears in the rain?
Can you hug me for a while?
And bring me a single smile?
Can you eradicate my sorrow?
And present me a better tomorrow?'
Sighing, my heart cries
As it gets no replies.
