Don't Kill Me

The boiling milk in the wok is scary.
I am pleading you, don't kill me.
In the bed of innocence I lie,
Why do you want me to die?

I can take care of you with affection,
I can be your mother's reflection,
Resting safely in the womb so dark,
I am waiting to see the light spark.

When I will come out I will love you.
Then, why you want me bid you adieu?
It's you who will bring me to earth.
Fostering me will give enough mirth.

I also need the light of education,
For what is this gender demarcation?
I want equal rights as my brother.
How can you do this being my father?

I can give you total support in your toil
Why then my birth creates your turmoil?
I will be your beloved daughter, have mercy.
I am a guiltless girl child, don't kill me.
